Capabilities
Eight disciplines we do deeply. Nothing we fake.
These are the areas we have shipped at production scale, repeatedly, for demanding clients. We do not claim to do everything.
Custom Theme Development
Hand-coded themes on modern PHP, Gutenberg blocks and ACF Pro. No Divi. No Elementor. No bloat.
Custom Plugin Development
Plugins written to WordPress coding standards that survive core updates. Integrations, admin tooling and internal workflows.
WooCommerce Development
High-traffic stores, complex catalogues, custom payment flows and B2B configurators built to hold under load.
Headless WordPress
WordPress as the editorial backend, Next.js or Nuxt on the front. For teams that need speed without retraining editors.
WordPress Migration
Zero-downtime migrations from Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Drupal or legacy WordPress, with search equity carried across.
WordPress Maintenance
Staged updates, security hardening, tested backups and a named senior engineer on retainer.
Speed Optimisation
Core Web Vitals work driven by profiling. LCP, INP and CLS improved with measured field data, not lab guesses.
WordPress Multisite
Multi-brand and multi-region networks with a shared design system, central governance and per-site autonomy.
Anti-patterns
Things we will not do, even if you ask.
A lot of the WordPress market runs on practices we think are bad for clients. In the interest of being clear upfront:
We will not build on Elementor or Divi.
Page builders look fast in the sales pitch and charge you every month afterwards in page weight and lock-in. We build custom on Gutenberg instead.
We will not hide behind a project manager.
The engineer who writes the code is in the meetings. No telephone game, no requirements lost in translation.
We will not sell you a proprietary stack.
You own your site. No custom licensing, no maintenance lock, nothing stopping you moving the code elsewhere.
We will not disappear after launch.
Every project ships with a 30-day warranty and full training documentation. We are a long-term partner, not a one-off shop.
How an engagement runs
Three phases, each with a defined output. No open-ended retainers that quietly become the product.
Discovery
A paid, fixed-price technical discovery. We audit what exists, agree the architecture and write the scope. You own the output whether or not you build with us.
Build
Two-week cycles against a shared board. Working staging environment from week one, so you are reviewing the real thing rather than a slide about it.
Handover
Code into your repository, training recorded for your editors, runbooks for your operations team, and a 30-day warranty on everything we shipped.

Headless WordPress for a SaaS scale-up
Moved a marketing site to WordPress plus Next.js. Core Web Vitals moved to the good threshold across all three metrics and lead generation increased 22%.

What does a WordPress development company actually do?
We design, build and maintain websites and web applications on WordPress. Unlike a generalist agency, we employ senior PHP engineers who ship custom themes and plugins and handle the complex work: WooCommerce at scale, multisite networks and headless architectures.
How much does an agency cost compared with a freelancer?
Simple custom theme builds start around $5,000. Mid-range projects with WooCommerce or custom integrations run $15,000 to $50,000. A freelancer is cheaper per hour; an agency gives you senior oversight, QA and continuity, so the project does not stall when one person gets busy.
Do you use Elementor, Divi or WPBakery?
No. These tools create technical debt you pay for every month after launch. We use the native WordPress block editor with ACF Pro, which gives editors flexibility without the performance and maintenance penalty of a heavy page builder.
Can you migrate our site from Wix, Squarespace or Webflow?
Yes, migrations are regular work for us. We handle content export, URL mapping, 301 redirects and a zero-downtime cutover. Most migrations complete in three to eight weeks depending on content volume.
Who will we actually be talking to?
The engineer writing your code is in the meetings. We do not put a project manager between you and the person doing the work, because that is where requirements get lost in translation.
